PYNKTALKS COVID-19 Panel Discussion: Reopening Strategies for Success

FYID NYC is hosting PYNK TALKS COVID-19 Live Panel Discussion for reopening businesses, inviting six female marketing professors and business owners to discuss reopening businesses after COVID-19. The purpose of this panel is to bring together women professors and entrepreneurs to share new ideas and perspectives of reopening businesses after COVID-19.

Our special guest panelists will address a variety of topics including marketing strategies during and post-COVID -19, opening retails locations, e-commerce stores, pop-up shops, employee training during uncertainly, and motivations around keeping sales up and business open, and more!

Our Special Guest Panelists are:

Dr. Cindy Ngoc Pham, Marketing Professor of Brooklyn College

  • Dr. Pham is an expert in Marketing and International Business. She obtained a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Texas - Rio Grande Valley and an MBA from the University of Houston - Victoria. Dr. Pham was interviewed by WSJ and Brooklyn Public Library in 2020. She is living in Brooklyn, NYC, and is a college professor of Business at Brooklyn College - C.U.N.Y.

Sevil Oztimutlenk, Marketing Professor of SUNY College at Old Westbury

  • Dr. Oztimutlenk is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at SUNY College at Old Westbury. She began her path in education with a bachelor's degree in business administration from Istanbul University and earned her MBA from Dowling College and MPhil from LIU. She also obtained her Ph.D. degree in information studies from LIU Post in 2019. Her research interests in the field of management primarily focus on emotional intelligence and information behavior of managers and human resource management.

Michelle Cadore, Business Owner

  • As a graduate of the Zicklin School of Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, Michelle has built a career around helping others realize their goals. Michelle is the designer, CEO, and visionary behind YES I AM, Inc, which she established in 2016. She is also the Founder and Co-owner of DA SPOT NYC, a unique fashion boutique located in Brooklyn, features 25+ independent creative brands by people of color. Michelle has always been passionately involved in entrepreneurship and inspiring others. Her brands have also been featured on Yahoo Finance, CNBC news, and multiple news and social media outlets.

Shneira Monae, Business Owner

  • Shneira Monae is 28 years of age and a mom of two. She resides in NYC and runs her own jewelry business with Papparazzi accessories.

Ayesha Khanna, Owner and designer of Naurah USA

LaCinna Arnold, Marketing Professor of Brooklyn College
