On May 20, PYNK host Taylor Eve sat down with influencer Tia Taylor on Instagram Live to chat about Taylor’s life in Milan as an American Expat and Italian content creator. This is the third installment of PYNK TALKS, a new series hosted by PYNK NYC (@pynknyc) and FYID NYC (@findyouridnyc) to spotlight talented women, artists and entrepreneurs.
Taylor tells Eve about moving to Italy to study business, teaching financial literacy on social media, black hair care in Milan, beginner tips for investing, and pivoting work and finance during the age of coronavirus.
“Just like Nike said, if you’re second-guessing yourself, if you're not sure, if you're on the fence about an idea, just do it,” Taylor tells Eve. “I mean in the worst-case scenario, you fail and you do something new. You fail and you learn to “fail”. You don't ever fail because you're always going to learn a lesson from what went wrong or what went right, so instead of waiting and thinking and contemplating, just do it.”
