Selina Chelsea Rooftop venue creates a great vibe for PYNK NYC and Organic Jam Session
On Wednesday, August 18, PYNK NYC and The Organic Jam Session moved to a new location at the Selina Chelsea Rooftop in New York City. With breathtaking views of Chelsea, the Hudson Yards, and the Empire State Building, the space provided a magical experience for performers, vendors and attendees alike.
The Rooftop at Selina Chelsea’s team was youthful, organized, and energetic - perfectly complimenting the vibe of the crowd curated by Imani Jones and Hoox, the co-producers of the evening. The jazz, soul, afrobeats, rock and R&B sounds hummed through the streets. PYNK NYC and Organic Jam Sessions are open to all who want to attend or perform.
On the first floor, spots were set up for vendors to show off and sell their products. The two highlighted brands, that can be seen on the Find Your ID NYC Instagram Highlight, are Moon Waze and The Power of Words Collection.
“The vibe was exactly what I look for when I go out so the fact that I was able to be there to experience it was just amazing! But what really made it amazing aside from all the great people behind this event was the performers and music,” said Sarah Santana, owner of the eco-lux brand Moon Waze. “I definitely look forward to not only be there again as a vendor. But I already have my date night set up for the next event!” There was a Shop Local Designers booth as well, run by Joseph Fraia.

On the second floor were the performers around the rooftop pool. There were astounding performances given by Candace Haynes, Hoox and the Africanos, Leah V and more. “The music was amazing, the service was great, I met more talented women than I have in a VERY long time and I cannot wait to go back! I’m grateful to have been included,” said Leah V about her experience at the event.
The goal for PYNK NYC and Organic Jam Sessions is to continue creating opportunities for performers and creatives to showcase their work and talent all over New York. To continue creating a safe space for performers and a welcoming space for the diverse audience. Thank you to Selina Chelsea for the venue to make these opportunities possible.
