FASHION WEEK BROOKLYN IN ROME AGAIN

On May 3rd, 2026, the breathtaking venue of the Alcazar opened its doors to host Fashion Week Brooklyn, warmly welcoming a vibrant and diverse creative community. Designers, painters, singers, DJs, photographers, models, and multidisciplinary artists gathered together to showcase their unique works to the public, creating an atmosphere that was truly immersive and deeply inspiring.

The evening was expertly guided by hosts Keith “Wildchild” Middelton (@keithwildchild), who skillfully introduced each performance and collection, maintaining a seamless rhythm and keeping the energy flowing throughout the night. Guests were treated to dynamic DJ sets by DJ Dez (@myfavoritedez) and DJ Simo (@djsimo.g) complemented by powerful live performances from 8rooklyn 8atman (@iam8rooklyn8at), Josh Johnson (iamjoshjoshson), and Benedetta Bayari (@bbayarii). Their combined talents created a dynamic soundscape that elevated the entire show to new heights.

The audience also had the distinct privilege of discovering exclusive fashion collections from Seeds in the Concrete (@sitc.nyc), Askan (@askannyc), Restocked (@restocked_nyc), Asia Anou (@asiaanou), DNE (@official_delvin), Mara Isolani (@maraisolani) and Beatrice Huang (@beatrice._.huang). Each brand brought its own unique vision to the runway, ranging from authentic NYC streetwear and lifestyle fashion to exquisite haute couture. This striking contrast between diverse styles made the show particularly exciting and visually rich.

A true highlight of the evening was the final model competition, which offered emerging talent a golden opportunity to shine. The winner was awarded a trip to New York City and the exclusive opportunity to walk in a major fashion show there. Six models were carefully selected during the previous shows held on February 24th in Rome and February 26th in Vicenza: Bygardine Lukoki (@heavy_lips), Martina Lombardi (@arag0sta__), Lavinia Moro (@lavinia_moro), and Giorgia Ippolito (@.giorgiaippolito._) representing Rome, alongside Destyne Agbamou (@destiny_agbamu) and Aminata Franco (@miinazz) from Vicenza. The ultimate winner of this prestigious competition is Bygardine Lukoki. Congratulations to her on this well-deserved achievement! She  will go on to walk in Fashion Week Brooklyn in NYC. To perfectly capture the essence of this special night, professional photographers Sertaç Mercan (@sertacccmercan), was the official Photobooth photographer. Matteo Di Marco (@matt.di.marco), and Alexander Fahey created stunning portraits of the models, immortalizing the moment and creating content.

Throughout the evening, guests were invited to freely explore the venue and discover the work of the artists present. Creations by The Island Capri (@theinslandcapri) were on display, where one guest remarked, "I liked the mood and people. Everyone was friendly and respectful, and Imani managed everything at best," alongside works by Bianca Formica. The venue also hosted talented visual artists such as the painter Akeem Art (@akeemakart) that has a solo exhibition, adding layers of artistic depth to the experience. Kavya Pabba (@thatchicinrome), was the artist curator.

A special mention must go to BeKind (@bekind.events) for their pivotal contribution to the success of the evening through thoughtful creative direction, artist scouting, and the facilitation of authentic networking moments. By curating meaningful connections and amplifying emerging voices, they helped transform the event into a true meeting point for the creative community.
