FASHION WEEK BROOKLYN LAUNCHES FOR THE FIRST TIME IN ROME, ITALY
On February 26th, 2026, the stunning venue NAOS opened its doors to host Fashion Week Brooklyn, welcoming a vibrant and diverse creative community. Designers, painters, singers, DJs, photographers, models, and multidisciplinary artists came together to showcase their work to the public in a truly immersive and inspiring atmosphere.

The evening was guided by hosts Keith Wildchild Middleton and Chiara Leone, who skillfully introduced each performance and collection, keeping the rhythm and energy flowing throughout the night. Guests enjoyed DJ sets by DJ Gemelli (@gemellidj) and DJ Naomi (@naomiplanapadilla), alongside powerful live performances by FYID Artist Guy Kelton Jones (@guykeltonjonesthefirst), Kevin Karell (@iamkevinkarell), and Fransees Benedict (@flikefrancis), who shared with us “it was a great feeling sharing my songs with the people and for people“ creating a dynamic soundscape that elevated the entire show. Kevin Karell shared similar feelings towards the event and commented, “I loved the energy of the crowd and felt a great connection with the audience “

The audience also had the opportunity to discover fashion collections by Brooklyn Celebrity (@brooklyncelebrity), Maria Bernabeau (@mariabernabeu), tells us “I felt very comfortable and I would definitely do it again! “ . OUTCHAINS (@out.chains) thought “Being part of the Fashion Show was great! FYID truly reflects the spirit of OUTCHAINS brand.” . Amongst the highlighted designers of the evening, the runway also showcased Maria Krashevska (@korae_bymk) and Assai (@assai.lifestyle), and 22vnted (@22vntd). Each brand brought its own unique vision, ranging from streetwear and lifestyle fashion to haute couture. The contrast between styles made the show particularly exciting and visually rich. It was the debut event for Assaï, the second clothing and lifestyle brand launched by FYID founder, Imani Jones.

A highlight of the evening was the model competition, offering emerging talent a chance to shine and showcase their talents. The winner will receive a trip to New York City and the opportunity to walk in a fashion show of the official Fashion Week Brooklyn. Six models were selected for the semi-final, which will take place during the next fashion show on March 26: Anta Mbengue (@anta.yaya), Bygardine Lukoki (@heavylips), Laskia Maganga, Martina Lombardi (@aragosta_), Giorgia Ippolito(@.giorgiaippolito._) and Lavinia Moro (@lavinia_moro). Winning semi-finalist, Lavinia M., shared“there was a truly American vibe that made everything even more special and engaging.” Congratulations to all of them.

Throughout the evening, guests were invited to explore the venue freely and discover the work of the artists present. The Island Capri (@theinslandcapri) founder, Giovanni Cimmino, shared “I liked the mood and people. Everyone was friendly and respectful and Imani managed everything very well.” Naurah USA (@naurahusa), and Bianca Formica were on display, alongside talented visual artists such as painter Marta Pacini (@martapacini.art), Kavya Pabba(@thatchicinrome) Jorge Melenciano (@jorgemelenciano), and tattoo artist Giulia Cassandra(@cassandratattoo_), adding another artistic dimension to the event.

A special mention goes to Hangry Kidz (@hangrykidzofficial) and its founder, Giorgia Fortunato (@cio_giorgia), for their contribution to the success of the evening through thoughtful creative direction, artist scouting, and the facilitation of authentic networking moments. By curating connections and amplifying emerging voices, they helped transform the event into a true meeting point for the creative community. Special gratitude also goes to the Hangry Kidz community, whose continued support and participation make these gatherings possible.

The celebration continued in Vicenza, at the Sky Lounge, on Saturday the 28th, extending the Fashion Week Brooklyn experience with even more energy and creativity in the North of Italy.
This show would not have been possible without the incredible hair and makeup teams, who took the time to personalize each model’s look with precision and care.
