InterseXtion: An Art + Fashion Showcase

Last Thursday (8/8/18) at Manhattan’s Djuna Studios, FYID NYC had their InterseXtion Art X Fashion Showcase. Mr. John Wright was the featured artist, and his pieces decorated the entire venue. From 3:00-10:00pm, guests had the opportunity to chat with the designers and brand representatives themselves, as well as shop their latest products.

Kahiem Archer did portraits of the guests all evening - here's fitness entrepreneur, Auroshikha, of Zydness is loves her masterpiece.

The event brought together artists and designers of different styles to display their newest collections and network with other industry creatives.

Over 500 guests came out to show their support for brands and they had special snacks and drinks waiting for them from the event sponsors including My/Mo mochi, Boxed Water is Better, and Swedish cider company, Kopparberg.

With body painters, artists drawing portraits, streetwear brands, a live DJ, crowns, free alcohol and snacks, the event was not one to be missed.

With models wearing all the designs, the best of the best looks were shown.

The InterseXtion: Art + Fashion showcase drew in diverse crowds from all over NYC to witness the emerging designers and artists show off their passion for fashion and the arts.
